Can we delete iSCSI LIFs if CVO is being used for only NFS workloads?

Answer

  • No.
  • iSCSI LIFs, apart from being used for SAN communication is also used for DNS communication and network workflows by the CVO. So even if there are no SAN workloads, NetApp recommends to not delete the iSCSI LIFs.
