CVO Licensing issues

  • BYOL (Bring your own license)

Issue

BlueXP shows License Expiration Warning alert before they expire:

  • Your software instance has been shut down as a result of not having a valid subscription license. Contact your sales representative for a subscription license. Your subscription expired on xx/yy/zz.
  • You`ve reached the maximum capacity allowed by your Cloud volumes ONTAP license(s). You can expand the allowed capacity by adding additional BYOL licenses.

Notes:

  • If an active license is not installed, then CVO shuts itself down after 14 days.
  • Several licensing options are available for Cloud Volumes ONTAP.
