Global File Cache: Why is my prepopulation job not beeing picked up and executed on the Edge

Answer

  • Prepopulation jobs need to configured according to the edge time.
  • Prepopulation jobs need to be configured at least 30 minutes in advance.

Additional Information

  • It can take 30 minutes for the edge to check and apply the scheduled prepopulation jobs. There are two separate processes and each one starts every 15 minutes.
  • Prepopulation jobs cannot be forced to start immediately
