Global File Cache: Why am I seeing objects in backend but not through GFC?

Answer

  • The Talon cache is on-demand. It requires a user to browse to that location.
  • When the user browses to that location a metadata refresh will trigger to update the content.
  • Depending on the structure (number of folders and files) the update can take 1-2 minutes.
