What are some differences between ONTAP performance metrics reported in Cloud Insights and AIQUM ?

  • AIQUM  values are in milliseconds, whereas Cloud Insights values are presented in microseconds.
  • In Cloud Insights, the application averages the data it collects based on 3h/24h/3d/7d, etc.; AIQUM averages the performance data  collected at hourly and 5 mins intervals.
  • Cloud Insights is using zapi (directly to cluster in CI) and AIQUM is using CCMA files from each cluster node, which collects stats on cluster objects at certain time stamps.
