Unable to install Cloud Sync Data Broker due to npm error

Issue

The below error occurs when installing data broker on an on-premises Linux host using proxy server:

reify:@azure/abort-controller: sill audit bulk request {npm ERR! code UNABLE_TO_VERIFY_LEAF_SIGNATURE
npm ERR! errno UNABLE_TO_VERIFY_LEAF_SIGNATURE
npm ERR! request to https://registry.npmjs.org/yocto-queue/-/yocto-queue-0.1.0.tgz failed, reason: unable to verify the first certificate

npm ERR! A complete log of this run can be found in:
