Cloud sync relationship fails to start with mount error(5): Input/Output error

Issue

  • When setup cloud sync relationship, it failed with below error:
Failed to mount source: mount error(5): Input/output error
Refer to the mount.cifs(8) manual page (e.g. man mount.cifs) and kernel log messages (dmesg)
  • In databroker logs failed mount errors are seen:
CIFS: VFS: cifs_mount failed w/return code = -5
