Issue

  • Cloud sync fails with below error when trying to create a new SMB sync relationship
  • This issue is seen for all SMB versions 1.0,2.0,2.1,3.0 and 3.1
Cloud sync fails to discover shares from SMB server with error "protocol negotiation failed NT_STATUS_CONNECTION_DISCONNECTED"
 
  • After manually adding the share , trying to browse the share also fails
 
Cloud sync fails to discover shares from SMB server with error
 
  • If we still proceed to create the relationship the the sync fails
