Working Environment in Failed State after changing the password from the Cluster CLI

Applies to

  • BlueXP Connector (Formerly Cloud Manager)
  • Cloud Volumes ONTAP (CVO)
  • CVO user password changed outside Blue XP

Issue

  • Working environment shows as  FAILED state with message "password inconsistency detected" in BlueXP when the admin password is changed from the Cluster CLI or System manager or via Blue XP.
  • CVO password change outside Blue XP is unsupported.
