Why do I pay more for CVO HA in GCP?

Last Updated:

Applies to

  • NetApp Cloud Volumes ONTAP (CVO)
  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • High Availability (HA)

  • In GCP, CVO achieves HA using an additional meditator instance and syncmirror
  • Syncmirror requires an equal amount of disk on each side.
  • A larger instance type may also add to overall costs, which can be looked up in the cloud provider`s documentation.
