Applies to

  • BlueXP Connector
  • Cloud Volumes ONTAP (CVO)
  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Firewall

Answer

  • Yes, this could cause the connector to become inactive.
  • MTU value was reduced on new Connector's service manager GCP deployments starting 3.9.23 to 1460.
  • Verify the relevant interface in the connector has the right value to work with your firewall. From connector CLI:
    ifconfig | grep -i MTU
  • If the displayed value is not 1460, update service manager by redeploying your connector.
