BlueXP unable to change instance type due to high number of disks attached error

Issue

  • The Upgrade Now! link is grayed out showing a new ONTAP version is available in the Overview tab in BlueXP
  • Further, when hovering mouse pointer over the current instance type in the Features tab, the instance is grayed out and the following error is displayed:
    The existing CVO instance is attached to a high number of disks and cannot be changed to another instance, please contact Support for assistance
