Trident PVC attach failure in OpenShift with FC: “no matching WWPN found for node”

Issue

When attempting to create a VM in OpenShift using a Persistent Volume Claim (PVC) provisioned by Trident with FC protocol, the operation fails with errors such as:
AttachVolume.Attach failed for volume "pvc-22154e75-a9d8-41aa-8ab0-f1701d4c15cd": rpc error: code=Unknown desc=error publishing ontap-san driver: no matching WWPN found for node 20:00:d0:39:ea:e6:ad:44
MapVolume.SetUpDevice failed for volume "pvc-a8e75afb-00b1-413b-ae37-c8ccee57c014": rpc error: code=Internal desc=failed to stage volume: multipathd: unsupported find_multipaths: yes value; please set the value to no in /etc/multipath.conf file
