Issue

  • After upgrading OpenShift from 4.14 to 4.16 and Trident from 24.06 to 25.06.2, Trident pods (specifically the node plugin) remain in an unready state for an extended period.
  • Log output from the Trident pod shows:

Container "csi_driver" is not ready, with error – "Error connecting to CSI driver err=context deadline exceeded"
