Description

  • It is sometimes necessary to limit a storage class to specific backends from Trident, or aggregates for use by the SVM.
  • The allowed aggregates list, or an explicit list in the backend definition (json or yaml) can prevent Trident from performing dynamic discovery of aggregates. 
  • Utilize the storagePools parameter of the storage class to filter, limiting the aggregates or the backends that Trident will use, while still allowing dynamic discovery.
