StorageGRID expansion stuck due to misconfigured settings on VM

Issue

When deploying the GRID VM incorrect name or IP configuration is entered in the vApp settings.

In the GUI, when approving the node the mistake is corrected.
However during expansion the old settings configured on the VM are still being used, causing validation to fail and expansion to stall.
