  • ONTAP 9.6P3
  • StorageGRID 11.5 or above with EC (Erasure Coding) ILM rule
  • SnapMirror configured with tearing policy ALL

Issue

  • ONTAP reports SnapMirror transferred failed (Volume access error (No space available in capacity tier staging area))
  • StorageGRID is reporting minor or critical SSTS and SAVP legacy alarms.
