SolidFire volume used percentage is not reduced after VMs were deleted or migrated from the VMware VMFS6 datastore

Issue

  • VMware UNMAP not working  when files or VMs  deleted or migrated from thin provisioned VMFS datastore.
  • Datastore  usage is reporting as empty or low in vSphere, but Element cluster UI shows the volume used percentage as high.
  • Storage space not reclaimed.
