Description

The Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) for the SF Series nodes is Dell's iDRAC, which is an independent component from Element Software and the associated Element upgrades.

If an upgrade of the SF Series iDRAC/BIOS firmware is needed, (e.g., to obtain security updates around ipmi), this article describes how to go about obtaining an update.
