How to clear the amber blinking lights on Element

Description

Underlying (resolved) BMC alerts may still trigger warning LEDs on the system. As long as the System Event List (SEL) has not been cleared, the warning LEDs will remain activated. This article will describe how to clear the SEL from BMC/IPMI.

Please note not all LED errors can be resolved by clearing the SEL. Sometimes further steps/investigation is required. See Additional Information.
