Issue

  • Stack of DS4246 shelf id’s 20,25,26 working fine, no issues on HA pair node11/node12
  • Hot addition of shelves at the end of the stack resulted in a Panic and system outage

EMS Log

EMS message clearly indicates we were unable to get a response from an existing shelf 25 drive for more than 120 seconds which would have led to the drive failure.
