Issue

Following the controller upgrade procedure of upgrading by moving volumes, you prepare the original nodes and join the new nodes to the cluster. You move volumes to the new nodes, configure LIFs, and unjoin the original nodes from the cluster.

node management LIF was automatically created and unable to rename.

cluster::> network int rename -vserver <vserver-name> -lif <UUID>_mgmt1 -newname <newname_of_lif>
(network interface rename)

Error: command failed: Cant assign LIF to failover group Default because group does not exist

Example:
::> net int rename -vserver svm01 -lif 3d7453f8-2580-22cd-ef15-e167db892737_mgmt1 -newname node_mgmt1
(network interface rename)

Error: command failed: Cant assign LIF to failover group Default because group does not exist
