Unable to configure e0c and e0d ports as storage in maintenance mode

Issue

  • When trying to set ports e0c/e0d as storage in maintenance mode, the following error is displayed
*> storage port modify -p e0c -m storage
sysctl failed cmd_storage_port_mode_storage 8238. Return code = 2
*> storage port modify -p e0d -m storage
sysctl failed cmd_storage_port_mode_storage 8238. Return code = 2
  • Ports do not change mode
*> storage port show
