Applies to

  • AFF-A700
  • SP FW 4.5P1
  • SP FW 4.7

Issue

  •  After an SP update, command system service-processor package show reports that SP is booted to backup version.
  • This can also be seen by logging into the SP where a message will report that the backup version is running. Also the output of version will show that the backup version is booted.
  • Trying to reboot the SP to the primary version via clustershell or SP does not boot the primary version.
  • This condition prevents the update of the SP Switch FW until it can be corrected.
