Issue

  • EMS reports thin volume is unable to grow.
  • Volume at high space utilization with multiple thin LUN's in that volume.
  • Space allocation is disabled for VMware thin LUN.

lun show -vserver abc -path /vol/vol_vmware1/lun1 -fields space-allocation

EMS Example:

wafl.vol.autoSize.fail:notice]: Unable to grow volume 'VOL' to recover space: Volume cannot be grown beyond maximum growth limit.
