Applies to

  • MCC-IP
  • AFF-A220 sharing cluster and MCC-IP ports
  • e0a/e0b link flaps issue

Answer

  • No.
    • In a MCC-IP configuration, the cluster network and MCC-IP switches are shared.
    • Therefore, it is easy to isolate and identify a node having issues with the cluster network ports.
    • No loopback test is needed in this configuration.
  • Additionally, it is not possible to add more redundant cluster LIFs if there are free network ports available.
