Does e0a/e0b link flap workaround applies to MCC-IP systems?
Applies to
- MCC-IP
- AFF-A220 sharing cluster and MCC-IP ports
- e0a/e0b link flaps issue
Answer
- No.
- In a MCC-IP configuration, the cluster network and MCC-IP switches are shared.
- Therefore, it is easy to isolate and identify a node having issues with the cluster network ports.
- No loopback test is needed in this configuration.
- Additionally, it is not possible to add more redundant cluster LIFs if there are free network ports available.
