Description

  • On these systems, the BIOS might map out memory DIMMs when errors are encountered, such as:

DIMM: B0 mapped out. BIOS MRC mapped out DIMM. Major Code 0x30 Minor Code 0x13

  • The BIOS message uses a two-letter code (DIMM: B0) to identify the DIMM with the error.
  • Example of PANIC message which would cause the DIMM mapped-out situation:
