FC switches and ATTO bridges unreachable after IP address modification or replacement

Issue

  • After modifying the IP addresses of MetroCluster backend FC switches and ATTO bridges, the following alerts are reported in event logs:

[Cluster-A-02: schmd: hm.alert.raised:notice]: Alert Id = FabricSwitchUnreachable_Alert , Alerting Resource = 10008XXXXXXXXXX06 raised by monitor system-connect

[Cluster-A-02: schmd: hm.alert.raised:notice]: Alert Id = StorageBridge_Unreachable , Alerting Resource = 10008XXXXXXXXXX06 raised by monitor system-connect

  • This can also be expected after the MetroCluster backend FC switch or ATTO bridge replacement.
