Issue

  • Brocade Management Port not reachable, no sending or receiving traffic, no errors in errdump indicate a hardware issue.
  • Swapping cables and ports do not resolve the issue
  • Checking the port configuration via CLI on Brocade switch (serial connection):

switch:admin> ethif --show eth0

  • $ ethtool eth0
