Issue

  • Inter-Switch Links (ISLs) and port channel marked as Down, after upgrading one BES-53248 Cluster Network Switch to EFOS 3.7.0.4 or later

  • AutoSupport generates alerts reporting switch ISLs are down, similar to:

HA Group Notification (Health Monitor process cshm: SwitchIfIslDownWarn_Alert[SW1/Slot: 0 Port: 55 100G - Level]) ALERT

HA Group Notification (Health Monitor process cshm: SwitchIfIslDownWarn_Alert[SW2/ Link Aggregate 1]) ALERT

  • If cluster LIFs are manually reverted to home ports with cluster interconnect ISLs down, node on which cluster LIFs were reverted has outage (LIFs and volumes on this node will not serve data) and its cluster apps go offline on that node
