Issue

  • After ONTAP upgrade, CRC errors increment on cluster ports throughout cluster
  • The following Active IQ and health alerts may be triggered:
    • SwitchIfOutErrorsWarn_Alert
    • SwitchIfInErrorsWarn_Alert
    • NodeIfInErrorsWarnAlert
    • (CLUSTER NETWORK DEGRADED) ALERT
  • EMS errors:
[?] Sun Nov 28 13:33:54 -0500 [cluster-01: vifmgr: vifmgr.cluscheck.crcerrors:alert]: Port e0b on node cluster-01 is reporting a high number of observed hardware errors, possibly CRC errors.
