Description

In some environments, the use of TFTP to transfer files to the NetApp CN1610 switch is undesired. The NetApp CN1610 administrators guide includes a remark that SCP and SFTP can be used in addition to TFTP for file transfers to/from the switch; however, no example is provided.

This article describes the procedure to be followed to use SCP to transfer firmware or script files to the NetApp CN1610 switch.
