Brocade G series switch reporting faulty FAN

Issue

  • Integrated FAN of Brocade G610/G720 switch goes to faulty state and auto recovers.
  • No environmental issues are present.
  •  In the errdump logs, even though FANs are integrated, it appears to have recovered by performing removal and re-insertion which is not true.

2021/02/11-14:28:14, [MAPS-1020], 590, FID 128, WARNING, brocade-sw1, Switch wide status has changed from HEALTHY to MARGINAL.
2021/02/11-14:30:01, [EM-1050], 591, CHASSIS, INFO, BrocadeG610, FRU Fan 1 removal detected.
2021/02/11-14:30:01, [EM-1049], 592, CHASSIS, INFO, BrocadeG610, FRU Fan 1 insertion detected.
2021/02/11-14:30:14, [MAPS-1020], 593, FID 128, WARNING, brocade-sw1, Switch wide status has changed from MARGINAL to HEALTHY.
