SNMP error SwitchCommunityString_Alert after removing cluster switches

Issue

  • After removing cluster switches to convert to a switchless cluster, alerts regarding a switch configuration error appear:
  • The error may also be seen after replacing, upgrading or changing IP configuration on the cluster switches

    Severity: Major
    Indication Time: Mon Mar 14 15:25:48 2022
    Suppress: false
    Acknowledge: false
    Probable Cause: Ethernet switch "cluster1-sw01" with IP address "192.168.1.5" is not reachable via SNMP.Incorrect SNMP community string might be configured on the Ethernet switch. Possible Effect: Ethernet switch communication problems and accessibility issues.
    Corrective Actions: Check the SNMP community string on Ethernet switch to verify that the expected community string is configured. Use the "system switch ethernet show -snmp-config" command to view the expected community string
