Newly shipped nodes will not initialize on ADP

Issue

  • New storage system received with whole/non-shared disks and the intent is to use ADP.
  • Upon running option 9a/9b to initialize the system using ADP it fails with the following error:
Mar 03 11:05:00 [Node-A:raid.autoPart.disabled:ALERT]: Disk auto-partitioning is disabled on this system: the system needs a minimum of 8 usable internal hard disks.
Mar 03 11:05:00 [Node-A:callhome.raid.adp.disabled:ALERT]: Disk auto-partitioning is disabled on this system: ADP DISABLED.
