LIFs do not work on the onboard CNA Network Interfaces
Applies to
- ONTAP 9
- QLogic CNA 8324 ports
Issue
- SnapMirror transfer may fail with error as per
snapmirror show -fields state, status, health, last-transfer-error
Error: command failed: Failed to get information for source volume "volume_node_name:volume_name" for confirmation. (CSM: A get-session operation failed because no (local) transport address was registered for the node.)
- EMS logs ports transitioning to an inactive state. Example:
[node-name: intr: net.ifgrp.lacp.link.inactive:error]: ifgrp a0a, port e0g has transitioned to an inactive state. The interface group is in a degraded state.
[node_name: intr: net.ifgrp.lacp.link.inactive:error]: ifgrp a0a, port e0e has transitioned to an inactive state. The interface group is in a degraded state.
- If intercluster LIFs on affected ports, the
