LACP ifgroup ports are stuck down following ONTAP upgrade

Issue

  • Following the ONTAP upgrade and giveback, two of the data ports in an ifgroup are stuck in the down state
  • Bouncing the ports on the node and the switch, removing and re configuring the LACP on the switch and performing TO/GB of the node with the issue yields no results
  • The switch reports:
Feb 3 10:27:57.950: %switch: Gi1/0/18 suspended: LACP currently not enabled on the remote port.
Feb 3 10:27:58.738: %switch: Gi1/0/17 suspended: LACP currently not enabled on the remote port.
