Description

Typically Service Processor (SP) firmware is updated either directly through System Manager firmware upload or in conjunction with an ONTAP upgrade.  Infrequently the SP firmware might be updated directly from the SP command line and the usual method is through a HTTP server.  Alternatively an FTP server can be used to upgrade SP firmware from the SP command line.
