Issue

  • AutoSupport message is triggerred:

 Notification (BATTERY (full charge capacity low)) EMERGENCY.

  • EMS log reports an error and recovers automatically:

Fri Feb 14 13:50:52 GMT [node_name: env_mgr: nvmem.battery.fccLowCrit:EMERGENCY]: The NVMEM battery full-charge capacity is critically low (30 ). To prevent data loss, the system will shut down in 20 minutes.

  • This is a false alert message if the following is seen shortly after the alert:

Fri Feb 14 13:54:53 GMT [node_name: env_mgr: nvmem.battery.fccNormal:notice]: The NVMEM battery full-charge capacity is normal.

  •  SP-LATEST-SYSTEM-EVENT-LOG indicate that a learning cycle is taking place at the time of the messages.
