This message occurs when an I/O Module (IOM) disables a host port due to excessive errors on the port.

There are multiple possible causes and further analysis is required for identifying a port or SAS cable issue.

 

Resolution

  1. Reseat SAS cable, in both sides, connected to the shelf IOM port module reporting the messages.
  2. Reseat IOM module.
  3. Replace SAS cable.
