Issue

  • Link down event on a data port:

  • SFP/cable reseated
  • Port remains down even after swapping SFP/cable with confirmed working one:

slot 0: Dual 40/100G Ethernet T62100-SABR
        e0g MAC Address:    d0:39:ea:20:df:ef (auto-unknown-fd-down)
            QSFP Vendor:         
            QSFP Part Number:    
            QSFP Serial Number: 

  • Both node and front-end switch power cycled, port remains down
  • Port on switch side is confirmed operational by connecting to working port on node
  • Replaced SFP, but Serial Number remains old SFP serial number
