Issue

  • ONTAP CIFS server is not able to connect to the Windows Active Directory LDAP service.
    • Errors seen  in the logs:

Unable to connect to LDAP (Active Directory) service on **** (Error: Strong(er) authentication required) <<<

secd.ldap.noServers: None of the LDAP servers configured for Vserver (*******) are currently accessible via the network for LDAP service type (Service: LDAP (Active Directory), Operation: MapNetbiosDomainToADDomain)
