After motherboard replacement the PCM fails to boot with message the incorrect NVMEM battery is installed

Issue

Post motherboard (PCM) replacement of the models in the Applies to section, the following errors occur during boot:

Jul 28 13:46:54 [localhost:monitor.shutdown.cancel:notice]: Automatic shutdown sequence canceled.
Jul 28 13:48:07 Battery charge capacity: 1300 mA*hr. Power outage protection flash de-staging cycles: 14

WARNING:  The battery is experiencing a critical failure:
           - Invalid battery pack is detected
          Without a working battery, the system cannot retain data
          during a power outage, which can result in data loss.
          Power down the system and verify that the battery is
          properly installed.
          To ignore this failure and boot the system in a mode
          where data loss might occur, press 'c' followed by 'Enter'
Jul 28 13:48:48 [localhost:callhome.battery.failure:EMERGENCY]: Call home for BATTERY (invalid pack) CRITICAL.
Jul 28 13:48:48 [localhost:nvmem.battery.packInvalid:EMERGENCY]: The incorrect NVMEM battery is installed. Expected part number is 271-00046. To prevent data loss, the system will shut down in 5 minutes.
