Description

This article describes the procedure that should be followed to troubleshoot VMware, Linux, and Windows hosts in a SAN multipath (MPIO) environment with connections to E-Series Storage arrays. These arrays include E2824, E2860, E5760, E2724, E2760, E5624, and E5660 for example.

This article can be used for Hosts verified and tested in the Interoperability Matrix (https://mysupport.netapp.com/matrix/#welcome) including Microsoft Windows Server 2008, Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2, Microsoft Windows Server 2012, and Microsoft Windows Server 2016 multipathing. Additionally, this article can be used for multiple Linux Vendors and multiple versions of recent VMware ESXi releases.
