Issue

  • An impending drive does not complete the drive evacuation (COPY) process to  Dynamic Disk Pool (DDP) preservation capacity, before it is failed by the controllers due to failing a write I/O operation.

  • When the drive is failed, the copy operation transitions to reconstruction operation since the drive is no longer available. The reconstruction is kicked off for the remaining DDP stripes on the drive.
