E-series asynchronous mirroring gets stuck and cannot resume automatically after SAN switch maintenance

Issue

  • After regular ISL maintenance, sometimes asynchronous mirroring replication gets stuck and cannot resume automatically.
  • When mirroring gets stuck:
    • Port 0f from Controller A or B is unknown in communication test from the primary array.
    • Communication test from the secondary array passes without issue.
