VSC Provision Datastore " Unable to click Finish to complete"

Issue

While provisioning a datastore using VSC's Datastore Provisioning Wizard, the Finish button is not enabled to complete the task. 

In developer tools on chrome, you can observe the following error when clicking on the Finish button:
com.vmware.vijava.vim25.mo.Folder cannot be cast to com.vmware.vijava.vim25.mo.Datacenter

The javascript errors match up with the errors seen in kamino:
