Description

This article provides instructions on replacing Virtual Storage Console's self-signed certificate with a "wildcard" CA (certificate authority) certificate and key.  Wildcard certificates differ from conventional certificates in that:

  • wildcard certificates typically come packaged with a private key and a signed leaf certificate
  • wildcard certificates will be imported into VSC's keystore and will replace any existing key pair
