VSC/OTV error on vCenter - Error downloading plug-in. Make sure that the URL is reachable

Issue

After ONTAP tools for VMware upgrade, logging into the VMware vCenter getting an error under tasks as follows:
Task Name: Download plug-in
Status: Error downloading plug-in. Make sure that the URL is reachable and the registered thumbprint is correct.
Details: Virtual Storage Console (com.netapp.vsch5:9.7.0.23839)
