ONTAP Tools for VMware vSphere: Host Discovery tasks fail within vCenter

Issue

  • vCenter shows failed discovery tasks during OTV's host discovery:

  • From OTV's vsc.log we see similar errors as this NPE error around the time of the failed discovery tasks:
